The Knox LAC Official Photographers have been authorised and approved by the Knox LAC Executive and have completed a
"Working with Children" check. All use their own cameras and
equipment at no cost to the Knox Little Athletics Centre and spend
many hours after the completion of events to process them for a
format suitable for the Knox LAC website.
All photos are taken according to the Knox LAC
Photographic Policy which can be viewed from
HERE!
Word of our Policy has spread with many inquiries
from other junior sporting organisations. Some have sought advise
and based their own photographic policies on the Knox Centre Model
which can be viewed on the following links:

To ensure all events run smoothly and for safety
reasons, only authorised Knox LAC photographers (wearing the orange Knox LAC
photographer's jacket ) are permitted to take photos from inside the
track and fence. All others taking photos must do so from outside
the perimeter fence.
We receive many compliments around the track and
pleased to know that so many of you check out the photos every
Monday. Due to constantly approaching the monthly bandwidth quota,
normal competition photo numbers have been limited to 300. The
remainder are saved for the end of season photo DVD.
There is no set roster or timetable as three of
the photographers are also Chief Officials conducting their own
events and/or club officials running their respective club affairs. So photos are generally taken when time permits. As such,
photos taken depends on what events are actually being conducted at
the time, so there is no formal attempt to strike an even
balance of boys/girls/age group/events or clubs.
Special event photographs are kept for 12 months only and are listed
below. Normal competition photos are kept only for one month,
obtainable from the links on the Notice Board from the home page.
At the end of the season, Phil Matthews has
traditionally produced a CD/DVD of the season's photos and
presentations for sale with funds going to the Knox Centre. A copy
is also submitted to the Knox Historical Society as a lasting
record. Covers of past issues are below.
