2007 Ray Abley Gift

 

The Ray Abley Gift is normally contested during the break on our Multi-Event Day – on the last Saturday competition in December. With the heavy rains washing out this event, the Gift had been moved to the Knox Twilight Open on 26th January 2008. This 150m handicap contest consists of one Knox Centre athlete selected from each relay age group from a list of 3 names supplied by each relay coach. The handicap is based on the athletes best performance so far this season over both the 100m and 200m. There is a boy and girl race and Ray Abley Real Estate is the major sponsor of the Knox Centre.
