 The Knox Little Athletics Centre hosted a breakfast at their track on Sunday morning, 27th April 2008 for the athletes and the management team of the ACT , Queensland, Tasmanian and Victorian State teams.
This was an informal way for the athletes and team officials to get to know each other, share some memories and highlights plus a chance to have some team and other photos taken. Response to the breakfast has been very positive and it is hoped that they continue this at future Championships.
We would like to thank Karen Fahey, who through IGA, donated the cereal, sausages, sauce, milk, mandarins and fruit juice. Pierres Oyster ( Pierre & Ann Goders business) for donating the bacon and eggs and Ross O'Callaghan (from Eastfield/Studfield club) who donated the bread.
Thankyou to Mike "The Man" Kerr and his crew in setting up, cooking and making this happen.
