PRESIDENTS REPORT 2002/2003 It is amazing how time flies. I can't believe how quick the last six months have gone. I hope that everyone has enjoyed Little Aths this past season and trust you will return next season. There are many people to thank not only for their support but also their extra efforts throughout the season. Kevin Cook, Stephen Egan and Troy Williams for organising of clinics held at Bayswater South and Our Lady of Lourdes Primary Schools. It was due to this that our club members increased. Thankyou to Kevin Cook as Club Secretary and Chief Official, Stephen Egan for putting us on the web and being our number one Chief Official and to Troy Williams our Team Manager and Chief Official. To our Treasurer Lyn Williams who managed to keep track of where the money was going to and coming from. To our Newsletter Editor and Chef extraordinaire Noel Hynes who also managed to update events on the whiteboard. To the tattslotto terrors Deb Polkinghorne and Donna Moore. To Peter and Cathy Russell for donating the bags of lollies for the athletes and their brothers and sisters at Christmas and again today. To you, the parents, for participating in duty, working the canteen, baking cakes for the cake stall, donating goods for our raffle and the selling of raffle tickets. It is this involvement that not only keeps our club going but also ensures our children can participate and enjoy Little Athletics. I feel it is time for some new faces to take over and hopefully bring with them some fresh ideas for the club. I thank everyone again for their support and wish the club and new committee continued success Ian Polkinghorne
TEAM MANAGERS REPORT 2001/2002 The Bayswater Bullets Athletic Club in season 2002/03 again has grown to a healthy 38 children. The most pleasing part of this is the growing number of children in our younger age groups, both boys and girls. With this increase, the club looks certain to be a force in the 2002/2004 season ahead. To all our parents and children who have joined the club this season, welcome and I hope you all have enjoyed your first season of competition and duty. There have been some outstanding efforts throughout the season. From the athletes who participated in the Knox Open Championship Day, to the many children who broke club records, to those who have achieved Personal Bests and to all the athletes for participating, today is the clubs day to reward all of you. As Team Manager I would like to thank all the Committee Members for the support throughout the season, with many filling in as Team Manager when I was needed at the Shot Put. To Ian, Debbie, Lyn, Noel and Donna I thank you. I would also like to thank Stephen Egan and Kevin Cook for officiating at the Shot Put. Congratulations to all the athletes and we hope to see you again next season. Troy Williams
