Geoff Warren
Geoff is a foundation member of the Knox Little Athletics
Centre and was awarded Life Membership in 1975. He was on the
Boronia West Little Athletics club Committee and ran the Cross
Country in the early years as well as designing the Chandler
Park track layout. Geoff is still seen often at the track and
cross country watching his grand daughter Bree Warren compete.

Running third in this photo is Geoff Warren during the 1953/54 Victorian
Amateur Athletics Association season. The runners finished this race in the
order shown with the winner John Landy, second was a young Ron Clarke and in
fourth place was John Murray. The photo was taken at Olympic Park and note the
crowds they had back then. The photo was from the book "Athletics - The
Australian Way" edited by Ron Clarke.
